2026 Autocross Shootout August 29th

*No Novice (any events as novice in 2026 or less than 13 events)

Event is rain or shine at the MCC Precision Driving Center located just past the Independence Animal Services at
E. Highway 78 and Powell Rd. (scroll down for map to site)

*It is your responsibility to read the rules for this special event. If you fail to do so and are not prepared for the event style, you will not be given grace.

2026 Autocross Shootout PAX based event

ALL TIMES WILL BE PAX BASED SO BE SURE TO SIGN UP FOR YOUR CORRECT CLASS
Competitors will complete a morning session like a normal autocross. 2 heats will be ran with 3 runs.
The top half of morning runs will be placed into an elimination style competition and the bottom half will be eliminated. 2 heats (or a single if workers permit) will be ran with 2 runs, the top half of the field will advance from there.
The top half of times will determine a seed for bracketing. The lowest time will be bracketed with the top time.
Competitors at this point will now engage in a head to head battle for each bracket. Each competitor will have 1 chance to make their run.
This bracket will proceed until 1st , 2nd , and 3rd positions are decided.
The battles for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will consist of 2 runs each with the best time taken.
DNF is an immediate loss unless both people DNF their runs, then they will both run it again.
During heat running, drivers will not be guaranteed a minimum time between runs, this is luck of the draw and is there to ensure we get through the heats fast enough. If car changes are to be made, they must be done within the allotted time. A mechanical issue is an immediate loss.
All rules are subject to change based on event flow.

Saturday SOLO EVENT DAY SCHEDULE:
7:00 AM - GATES OPEN, SETUP WORKERS ARRIVE
7:30 AM - EVERYONE ELSE ARRIVE ON SITE
7:30 - 9:00 AM - TECH & ATTENDEE CHECK IN OPEN
9:00 AM - TECH & ATTENDEE CHECK IN CLOSES
9:30 AM - DRIVER'S MEETING
9:45 - FIRST CAR OFF

*No food vendor on site. Water will be provided.

PAYMENT/CANCELATIONS/NO-SHOWS:
Payment is required at time of registration. If your entry is properly canceled on MSR 24 hours before the event, you will be given event credit for future use. No shows are non-refundable, no credits will be offered due to the inconvenience of replacing your work assignment unannounced.
